In west you may visit Yoksum, The last resort where from trekking starts for Goeachala (Kanchenzonga Base Camp) OR Uttare the last motorble village and base camp of Singlila range trail.

Number of huge falls will make your visit more enchanting. The holly Khechopalri Lake, Pelling, Rubdantse Ruins, Pemayangtse, Tashiding and Dubdi Monasteries etc. are other places of interest in west. The Varsey rhododendron sanctuary is a priority choice for nature trailers.

The North Sikkim is famous for very high altitude lake and snow surrounded flower valley. Gurudomber lake (17,800ft), Tsnoga (14,000ft), Yaungtham valley (11,800ft), Katao valley , 7 sister falls, Lachung and Lachen villages are major attraction for North Sikkim.

South Sikkim is mainly covered by tourists between their movement to and from east and west Sikkim. Samdruptse, the wish fulfilling hill having a 135ft high world tallest statue of Guru Padmosambhaba. Namchi, Tendong Hill, Temi tea garden, Rabangla, Manona Hill, Sikip are other places of interest in South Sikkim.

Gurudongmar Lake (the holly lake), North Sikkim

It is situated 17,800 feet, it is 190 km. from Gangtok. According to a legend the lake used to remain frozen through out the year, it was not possible to use it for drinking so when GURU PADMASAMBHAVA passed by the local residence approached him. A portion of the lake touched by him and that does not freeze during extreme winter.  

Tsomgo Lake, East Sikkim

This beautiful lake is 40 km. from Gangtok surrounded by frozen hill side. This lake is over a Km. Long and 50 ft. deep.

Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple (Baba Mandir), East Sikkim

This temple lies between Nathula and Jelepla Passes. 

Pelling, West Sikkim

It is a five hour drive from Gangtok. Pelling is a beautiful hill town in Sikkim. The view of Kanchanjanga range is so near as if you can touch them when the weather is perfect you can see PANDIM, KABRU, DOM, KOKHTANG, SHIMBO, NORSING, SINIALTU are stand tall. 

Khecheopalri Lake (the wishing lake), West Sikkim

It is 25 km. from Pelling. According to a legend birds do not permit a single leaf to stay on the surface of the lake so the water remains clean every time.

Lachung, North Sikkim
